Hi I have a bone stock 2004 dc5 base model 5sp manual and about 2 weeks ago its been making a crunch noise everytime im above 3500-4000rpms switching from 2-3 gear. Ive replaced the Transmission Fluid with Honda's Genuine MTF But it still crunches. When I took it for a test drive after replacing the fluid it was shifting it was fine there were no crunches at all, but then about 5 minutes of normal driving later it started crunching again. Ive tried adding more fluid and tried doing the reving at 4000rpms for 10-15 sec just on the edge of switching to 3rd gear but still crunches. I really doubt that it would be something in the actual gearbox because it was working beautifully before this happened. Any other solutions?????? sned halp!!
