I love my Mugen seats but.....
All of my friends get on me for taking perfectly decent street cars and trying to lighten them up.... which means removing various ammenities such as rear seats, radio, clock, air bags, rear seat belts, A/C, etc..... Admittedly I have gone to the extreme in some cases.
My argument for removing the rear seats was always that I didn't want 3 or 4 people in my car at one time getting my seats and carpet all dirty and scuffing up the interior panels.
After installing the Mugen seats in my ITR have come to the joyous conclusion that I have a very legit reason for removing the rear seats. No matter how far forward you slide the seat, nobody (except for Mr. Mugen the Boston Terrier) is going to be able to fit between the seat and the door frame.
Ausmith - who is doubly glad he has the mooogen under his butt now

nah, they're crazy for not doing the same to their own cars

I wish I could take my rear seats out too. The exhaust drone is just too much though with out the rear seats. I hate having more than passenger in my car.

There are adapters available for the rails that allow you to "flip" the seat forward for access to the rear, not that j00 want them
Another advantage to the Mugen buckets is that I can assure you that no big people can drive or ride in my car... I better watch my diet.
how big are you?
And no Im not buying you dinner first

It is possible to get to the back seats! I have crawled through the middle many times in Mltdown's car with the momo's in place. But it is no fun, but still possible
