Recommendations on OBD II scanners / code readers that read Honda PGM-FI DATA LIST?
Would experts here please recommend an OBD II scanner / code reader that's capable of reading Honda PGM-FI DATA LIST? I need one to help me run a Cruise Control Input Test on my 2005 Acura MDX to test Cruse Control Main switch, Brake switch, Set/Decel switch, Resume/Accel switch, Cancel switch, and Cruse Control Indicator signals. Hope such a scanner will not cost an arm or leg.
Thank you for your help!

Youve got a 50/50 shot at bricking one or more modules in your vehicles. (it may not happen the 1st time or the 100th time you use it, then on time 101, fail)
The cheapest(safest) tool that will do what you want is something like the Autel MX808.
Not dirt cheap, but then again neither is module replacement.
Buy once,cry once.....
These tools with pirated software are sketch AF.

You could look at the cruise control data but not fire the solenoids with the Ap200
I have an MX906 and it's great but the annual cost for updates is astronomical. You could just buy a new MX every year.
I can confirm the mx906 works on an 04 MDX. Confirmed the lock up clutch in the converter was the source of the shudders.

However it isn't necessary to update annually. I update my scanners every 3-4 years....(my MS906 is @2022 and my Solus Legend is@ 2020)
