I'm sure there are thousands of other people like me, so i hope i'm not too repetitive. I'm new to wrenching on cars, i've got a 1999 Honda Civic Si that i bought about half a year ago. It's got almost 225K miles, so it's safe to say it's not in the best condition cosmetically, but it doesn't seem all that bad mechanically. I'm in the rust belt, but somehow it still has it's undercoating, not sure if the previous owner(1 owner) had it recoated our what. The only rusty bits are bolts, and a couple brackets and such. I've been looking through this forum for a while now, but i figured it's time i get my own account, and as such, ask my own questions with hopefully the most detail i can. Once again, i'm new to cars, so i'm not the brightest. I'll get pictures of my car if that's something people are interested in
Totally didn't forget about this. I just recently got a used set of Rota Slipstreams for a pretty good deal. Not the fanciest, but good enough for me. Also just recently got window visors
Looking stealth with the black on black my guy. Slipstreams are one of my favourite looking wheels for sure, great choice. How are you liking the civ so far?
I personally like the si blue more, but i love the black on this car either way. In some ways, i enjoyed my old ford focus wagon more, as i could "drift" when it was wet, mostly cause of bad tires, but this car is so much fun through the corners, and doesn't feel like it's nearly as much as a deathtrap. I just need to get a new headunit and it'll be golden...For now
