Default Water pooling on driver's floor

Hey all!

There is a leak that brings water when it rains into the driver's side front floor area. I pulled the carpet out of the way and noticed a drain plug. I left it off to drain this mess every time it rains. I am dying to figure out where the water is coming from. Anyone had a similar problem? Could it be a simple firewall issue I can flexseal?

I think I figured it out...the rain gutter on the driver's side was gunked up with leaves and other debris. I dislodged it all and seemingly everything dried up!
