Default B16A - Burning oil - Please help!

Hello,

I currently have a B16A in an 99 EK. It is currently burning a fairly large amount of oil, most on acceleration, decell and changing gears.

I have had valve stem seals replaced and some other minor work. Car has good compression, runs ok, no missing or anything.

Im unsure as to if the issue lies with the rings or somewhere else eg. PCV system ECT.

Nothing the car has good comp and it's still running okay, while only smoking during Accel and decell Im pretty sure it isn't the rings.

Can anyone give me some advice as to potentially what this could be? When I first got the engine it did have a buildup of sludge under valve cover.

Thanks

Try a can of engine restore 4cyl formula.

Drain the oil and then pour the entire can in, then put fresh oil on top. This should help with the smoking and burning oil.
