I have no one else ro ask this, So I have a 1988 wagon and it got totaled, damage was only cosmetic and minimal. Just needed a bumper, driver fender, and corner light all of which I was able to find. I took it to get a state inspection to be able to get a rebuilt title and it passed. Then I drove to the Georgia department of revenue (i live in Georgia) to get the title. The problem is that I bought the driver fender off of a 91 wagon on marketplace, they asked for the Vin, which i had and they told me the title was clean and I'm not allowed to rebuild a car using parts from a clean title car. So they said I only option is to bring the title from that car for it to be written off as a parts car, so I called the guy who had it and he lost it. Is there any other way to go about getting my rebuilt title.
