I tried basically everything but a new ecu. Here's a recap
main relay wire 1 to 7 primes it
Wire 5 to 7 makes a weird clicking noise but no prime (yes it's on ignition 2)
Checked fuse 24 and 31 I believe, replaced them and then used a multimeter to confirm.
I connected the fuel pump power straight to the battery and it primes and when I went to crank the car it starts, then when I pull off the wire to the battery the car stays running.
My main relay clicks but for good measure I bought 2 more and they all click but still the same problem

Tried to start the car again with the fuel pump power to 12v didn't work this time

I'd appreciate any sort of help

 

I am experiencing the same problem since yesterday. Main relay clicks on time on 2nd position, but the pump does not prime. Tried main relay from known-good Civic. Tried cleaning thermostat ground, inspected the main relay’s contacts for cracking, inspected the fuseboxes. Will try to check the fuses with multimeter.

In the past sometimes car just died after RPM drop (i.e. Stopping at the red light) and to start again it required a bit of gas pedal input.

Also, sometimes when fuel pump primed - it made gurgling noises.

Do we have anything in common?

I got a new pump so no gurgling noise. And also this is a project I bought it came like this

Started a couple of times but died again won't prime anymore
