Default Wheel hub

My OEM rear wheel hub/bearings were noisy, so bought a set from Autozone and installed them. Honda manual says to torque spindle nut to 134 ft/lb. The issue that I am having is... even at 100 ft/lb torque, the wheel hub get super tight and does not rotate. What am I doing wrong? I ended up loosening the spindle nut so that the wheel turns. Please advise.

No chit it gets super tight, 135 pounds is a lot of force. Crank on the nut until your torque wrench reads 135 pounds. Simple as that.

Not sure I understand... are you saying torque it to 134 ft/lb even though the hub barely turns?

There is something wrong if the hub won't spin. Closely compare the old and new hubs and double check you install process.

This is for rear wheel hub assembly, it is easier than an oil change. just one axle nut to remove and replace. I removed and regreased EOM hub on this car few times in the past, never had any issues with those(they have become noisy lately). Will remove and inspect this weekend.
