I can't find a forum anywhere on the older ones, if this isn't allowed delete it, I'm new sorry.

anyway i got this 1987 lx 4 door and the front passenger window only gets power when the switch is pushed down, I've already checked the fuses in the engine bay, any help is appreciated. Thanks

 

Had similar issue on mine with rear passenger side window(only goes down not up), turned out master switch needed replacement.

 

You're lucky if it's an electrical problem -- dead switch, loose wire, etc. Find a service manual. It probably has info on replacing/testing the motor. That should help. It might be the motor or the regulator, or window glass "unhinged", etc. DIAGNOSIS is key.
