Car starts up then dies in a couple of seconds, NEED HELP PLEASE
Hows it going everyone, I have a 98 ek civic and im close to calling cash for cars and have them pick it up for scrap.
My car will turn on, idle for about two seconds, then the engine will shut off. I unplugged the MAP sensor and it stays on and idles forever, but as soon as i give it gas, it will bog and will die if i dont get off the throttle.
This is a very weird issue and im completely stumped on what it could be, and I would appreciate anyones help.

What's the back round on the car? did this just start happening?
Either you have the map sensor and TPS plugs switched, or the Map sensor is bad. Make sure the map sensor has the O ring under.

this car was b swapped, ran fine, I swapped all the gaskets as I just bought it, and swapped a skunk 2 manifold on, started getting this problem, so reverted back to the stock manifold, and swapped map sensors already to what I’m almost sure am a new one, not sure if it’s the map sensor. When I switch the tps and map it runs worse
