No crank/no start after engine swap
Hey everyone!
I've got a 96 hatchback with a z6 and a 5 speed swap. I recently had a y7 with the same transmission and it ran great until the timing belt broke and the engine took a ****. I swapped it with a z6 and kept the same transmission. When I turn the key it's not wanting to even crank over. When I changed the timing belt on the old engine and it was running. I didn't realize it until it was too late but one of the injector wires had an exposed part on the wire and it touched the manifold and died instantly. I swapped the engine because the old one was dead. After the swap, I tried to get it to crank to put oil pressure back to the turbo and get everything primed and it wouldn't crank. I jumped the battery to the solenoid and it makes a starting sound like it's trying to start.
Battery tested good. The resistance at the 3 main grounds is 0.1 or 0.0, Fuses tested good with test light
When I turn the key, I get the beeps and my radio comes on and headlights work but the fuel pump doesn't kick on. I turn the key to crank it and nothing
It's like the solenoid isn't getting power
I don't have the clutch safety switch where it was Auto and everything worked before the swap.
I replaced the following:
fuel pump/fuel pump relay(the one behind the glove box)Wiring harness/injectors and the Starter
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've searched all kinds of websites and forums and nothing has helped thus far.
