Okay so no threads in this are helpful as they are cram packed with nonsense people included in the thread. So I cannot find a single thing about battery terminal wiring or rewiring.
I am rebuilding a 94 civic hacthback cx. Battery was already relocated in the back, And we have yet to run terminal lines because the confusion. Would greatly appreciate some assistance.
So im confused on the idea of where the positive and negative go.
So please respectfully correct me if i'm wrong here.
Negative(from battery) Is grounded to chassis.
and also of course, grounded at the transmisson and Im being told the valve cover, which makes no sense the valve cover is not metal to metal so...
Positive, goes to the outter post mount of the fuse box which is, (to alternator via engine harness) which makes no sense the harness had no terminal line on it. The tuck job was already done so there was no such line like this?
The secondary post mount on the fuse box (to battery via starter cables) I have no idea where it goes.
So do I basically run two lines from battery one from battery to fuse, and a second on from battery to starter or?
I hope someone sees my confusion. I am unable to find a explanitory diagram online I can find some but not many.
The pic underneath is what my fuse box is, and where i am getting the parentheses information from.
Thank you again for any insight into this issue that I get!

Re: Could use some minor wiring help
Looking at my diagram, for stock purposes, battery positive terminal connects to T1 (Fuse box) and T2 (starter motor). Yes T101 connects to alternator. I believe if you were to do a continuity test, you will find that T1 and T101 has connectivity. If I were to run wires to my starter in the scenario where I finally relocate my battery, I would run the cable from T1 to the starter. Some "guy" on YouTube relocated his battery to the trunk, running his positive wire from his starter. Use a voltmeter to check your work.

Just to clarify a small tidbit. The ground to "valve cover" is incorrect but seems to work. It's actually going from the radiator upper support rail to the power steering bracket brace. On the VX that doesn't have power steering it's to the steel brace that is from the motor mount bracket to the exhaust side of the block/head where the power steering bracket would normally be.
Everyone likes to connect it to the valve cover but it's not a good grounding point in my opinion.
