1993 Civic EX - ABS Light Code 1-2, Blowing 50A ABS fuse following brake job
Recently replaced front brake pads and rotors, immediately threw the abs light. I pulled the code and it was 1-2, the 50A fuse for abs was blown so I replaced it, disconnected the battery to reset the computer, code went away until I started moving again then it instantly blew the fuse again. It’s hard for me to believe a the modulator or pump failed at the exact same time I did the brakes. Lol. It seems to me like it should be a wheel speed sensor problem since that is the only thing near where I was working but unsure if touching the wheel speed sensor accidentally could cause this kind of a failure. What should I check for in the wheel speed sensors? Could turning the hub while replacing the brakes have mis aligned the sensor? Fluid level was full in both reservoirs before and after the service so I don’t think it’s a bleeding issue with the accumulator although my logic could be flawed there. Getting the car up on stands and getting the wheels off is an endeavor right now in my current situation so I’d like to know what to look for before I get in there again. Thanks.
