So to me there are 3 options but I’m not sure. This started happening whenever i put hella stuff in my trunk to go to a bbq. BUT, let me list the options. First, my car is lowered and have very wide wheels(16x9et0) on so i rub. specifically i rub in the rear a lot if there’s more weight than just me. Second, in the nighttime i ran over a dead animal which tore off my front lip and the battery light flashed as the car was about to die. Third is whenever i put stuff in the trunk for a bbq. Now my ride height is perfect, i never rub in the rear unless i hit a bump.

as for the brake light issue its whenever i drive and at stops. when i press the gas the brake light comes on, but if no gas i just let the car roam & it goes away. And at stop lights when holding the brake the brake light also comes on. THIS doesnt always happen, i would say 95% tho. i got my wheels on march 1st and no brake light issues, so i guess it knocks the wheels option off. i wouldnt suspect the rubbing to cause the brake light...

Check your brake fluid reservoir, probably low..
