Crank no start, no cel 98 HX 5sp
As the title says I have a 98 civic hx 5 sp that has a crank no start issue. No cel or codes stored. The car is BONE stock with 228k miles. I've owned the car for about 2 months and haven't had any issues. After an hour drive through the hills the car started falling on it's face at every stop, almost stalling. As I pulled into my driveway the car shut off and hasn't moved since. It will run very poorly as if it's only firing 1 or 2 cylinders if I hold down the gas pedal but dies the moment I let off.
I'm going through the factory service manual trying to troubleshoot the issue
Here are the things I've done/tested:
Timing (checks out)
Compression (150 across board)
Fuel pressure at 45 psi
Oil looks good
Engine bay grounds check out
Spark plugs wet with fuel
New cap rotor wires and plugs (about 1k miles before car broke down) plugs looked pretty dirty after it broke down so I threw ANOTHER brand new set in I had laying around Incase of fouling
Visible spark to each plug
Resistance to ignition coil within spec
Resistance to Cyp,ckp, and tdc sensor read a hair over at 850 ohm. (Spec: 350-700)
Resistance to Crank pos sensor within spec
Ecu pins a10 and a23 read: 3.3v while cold (spec: under 1v)
Cleaned iacv
Checked pcv
Checked vacuum lines
Checked air box
Ecu doesn't have any signs of internal damage or loose/swollen capacitors
My bro is gonna come tomorrow with his civic and let me swap out parts to double check things.
I feel like I'm chasing my tail here and any help or guidance at this point would be appreciated
