no power at A/C compressor
Hello not sure if there is a thread already but I have going on is, have no power at the compressor if I jump the relay in the engine compartment the compressor comes on. The relays are good, wiring is good jumped pressure switch is nothing. Also, the fans do not come on either, below is what the gauges are showing the engine was cold and the outside it was 80 deg F. Any help will be great TIA
If you jump the relay and the compressor runs then you have power at the compressor.
What you don't have is a signal to turn on the compressor and fans.
Your picture did not load. R134A at rest with the compressor not running should be right around the same pressure as the outside air temperature for both the low and high side. But this in no way is an indicator that the system is properly charged. It just means there is some level of R134A in the system.

Ok, thanks pressure at low-side 90 high-side 90 PSI. Are there any scan tools out there that will show outputs from the ECM/PCM as looking at the wiring prints when you press the a/c button gives the ground you need for the a/c to turn on? So I need to see the outputs from the ECM/PCM, I could back probe it with a meter but before I do that I want to see if there is a scan tool I can use. As I do want to start just throwing parts at it
Sounds like there is at least enough charge to satisfy the low pressure cut out.
Might be a sensor issue that has the compressor locked out.
Not sure on this generation of Civic but the newer stuff with a proper scan tool will show the AC request input and the AC clutch and Fan control outputs. They will also show the evap temperature and high side pressure.
I would bet at a minimum you would see the ac request and the clutch control.
The Foxwell tool runs about $200 and should show the data if it's there. A generic obd2 scanner will not show this level of data.
