Hi everyone, I'm at my wits end trying to get the Catalyst check on my 2015 Accord LX to be emissions "Ready" for a smog check. I've done the drive cycle specified in both the owner's manual and service's manual at least 7-8 times spanning across 300+ miles, but no luck. Everything else is Ready except for the Catalyst.
I thought I might have some out of spec O2 sensors, so I used an OBDII reader + Torque pro app to check. The upstream and downstream O2 sensors seem to behave normal with the downstream sensor switching nicely between 0.1-0.7V, while the upstream sensor fluctuates when but always normalize back to 0mA.
The car has no current or pending fault code. But I do notice the "Current" drive cycle have a few checks listed as "Not available", mainly EVAP System and Fuel System, while the "Readiness Since DTC" data shown those as "Complete". I don't know if this means the car lost access to those sensors.
I would like to troubleshoot a bit more before handing it over to a dealership to have them take a look, so any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!
EDIT: Weirdly was able to set the catalyst monitor today. I tried the service manual version of the drive cycle again today, focusing solely on the Catalytic Converter section. But instead of 5 miles in stop-and-go, and have the coolant above 156C prior to driving, I warmed it up to 176C, and I drove a bit longer, 8 miles. Upon braking at a red light, the monitor turned green.
Current Drive Cycle shows EVAP and Fuel system as "Not Available", but Emission Readiness since DTC shows them as "Complete".
