Default 96 Integra Rs issues with b20 p8r head swap

I know there are already a ton of different threads/forums on here detailing how people have done their separate swaps and what parts to use however I was hoping someone could help me with some swap issues I'm having or just provide any insight. I have a 96 rs Integra hatchback that I've had for some time now and the engine blew a little over year ago. When this happened I decided to go through with swapping the engine to a b20 with a p8r head. Before this I had never done an engine swap so it's been challenging to say the least, not to mention the owner before me did not take the best care of the car; cut wires on the harness, wrong coolant, and much more. I had gotten the old b18 out and swapped all of what I believe are all the necessities over to the b20. Then I was able to drop it in after buying a new engine mount. I got all the belts hooked up aside from the AC since I don't have one. However after everything was done the last thing I had to rig up was the electrical harness. This is where all my problems have arose and now I've been stuck for months. As mentioned beforehand the previous owner had multiple wires that were cut or just completely destroyed. This included multiple sensors and even the radiator fan wires. So I'm trying to figure out which Engine harness is going to be best for the swap. From what I've been able to find online people have said the harness my car came with should work if I just bought a new one of the same type, however not all connections have lined up. I guess what I'm essentially asking for help with is if anyone could help me figure out which electrical harness to use and if I somehow missed any parts that were supposed to be swapped over. Also when I tried to connect the old harness to my battery after connecting as much as I could, electricity began arcing between the terminals and the battery and the terminals even began to melt however, we couldn't figure out why. Any help with any of these numerous problems I have would be very greatly appreciated from one Honda fan in the community to another.
Best Regards, Thanks for the read.

yeah I’ve bought two now, the first was from a pick a part, it was from a 97 ls integra I believe, the second was some random tucked harness that i got off eBay that didn't hook up in multiple points including to my p75 ecu, im now in the process of returning that harness.

Well it's pretty important if you want help, so figure it out. 97 Integra harness should have no problem in a 96.
