Default 92 civic D16Z6 troubles

Hi all, am a newbie to this site so please be gentle.

I bought a 92 Civic with a D16Z6 naturally aspirated and MT. To my knowledge the motor internals are stock with no upgrades / mods. It does have a long tube header (I get that writing "headers" is a pet peve for many of you, just know it feels awkward writing header), and a Cat delete. I dont yet know the model number of the ECU but will check shortly. The person I bought the car from did absolutely trash work. As a result I've spent a lot of time and money fixing things. The car does run and drive but the CEL is on (probably due to the Cat delete), does anyone know if A.) If the D16Z6 requires a down stream O2 sensor?

B.) Can I trick the ECU with a resistor ?

Any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE: this car is running the P28 -A02 computer
with 2 engine codes:
​​14 and 22

The right forum for you is 92-00 civic. You'll find the list of codes in the top threads. Use the full site view. There is only 1 o2 sensor for 92-95.
