Default 92 D16Z6 into a 94 civic?

might be a dumb question since body still is the same how about the wiring and all that or am i going to get luck and she will plug and play right now she has a D16z6 but water fucked her up and i noticed the 6th number in the vin is a 9 and mine is a 1 not for sure if its going to work so please help

im not sure if people understand what your saying..... d16z6 is coming out and a d16z6 is going in?

the 6th place in the vin is part of the chasis code and im assuming yours is ej1 and i am guessing that what it came from was an eh9? if thats the case then that motor came from a civic ex sedan and you have a coupe, contradicting your screen name.

yes same engine is going in that is coming out just different years and 2 extra doors so will it work?
