Hey I have a k20z3 I heard somewhere you can use stock fuel rail so I got the fittings and realized that there’s no return line. Do I need it? Can I just plug the ek return like?
You can use the stock K fuel rail as a dead head system. However the EK doesn't have a fuel pressure regulator in tank so you would put a fuel pressure regulator on the firewall. Then dead head the fuel rail off the regulator and return off the regulator to tank.
Or buy an aftermarket fuel rail with a return but you will still need a fuel pressure regulator.

sorry I’m alittle confused so I’d have to put a regulator between filter and rail but how would I get a return line. From the regulator?
You MUST use a stock fuel rail if you run a fuel system like the diagram above. This is the only way you will get a reasonable distribution of the fuel to each fuel injector.
