99 SI FACTORY KEYLESS ALARM AND PROGRAMMING
My alarm got tripped and my remote isn't working. Replaced battery in remote and it still does not work. I disconnected the plug under the steering colum to keep my neighbors from complaining. However, I cannot program a replacement remote with it going off.
I have upgraded to a new deck, speakers, amp, and sub. I have the factory deck and code. I'm the original owner so no surprises provided the installers didn't do something crazy. New deck fit without any mods to the dash.
Need step by step with photos if it requires me to reinstall the factory radio or the like to fool it.
Thank you

The factory alarm is an accessory for U.S civics. There should be a three pin connector near the fuse box where the switch attaches. The instructions from Honda where to drill the hole is near the fuse panel cover. If it’s not there search behind the cover for where they put it . You should be able to hit the valet button after turning they key to stop the alarm.
Thank you, so much. I feel like an idiot. I never questioned what that was for and the car is how old?
I called the dealership for help but, they were no help.
Seriously, thank you.
