Randomly dies/won't start until sits for 2 min
Hey everyone, I have a 95 2.2l i can't start the car right after shutting it off unless it sits for. 2 minutes. It just cranks away it might fire for a split second but pretty much just cranks. Once it sits for a few minutes it's fine. I can hear the fuel pump prime. Also once in a while it'll stall when I come to a stop or am sitting at a light, combine that with having to wait to start it and as you can imagine it's left me in some embarrassing situations. Does anyone have any ideas I can check? Thanks. I searched around but didn't find this exact problem. Most others say they have to wait for engine to cool down or car dies while driving

If i had to guess, the ignitor module in the distributor. Does your tachometer jump or bounce when you are driving before the shutdown happens?
Do you have the internal or external mounted coil?. Also I would check your Main relay for bad solder joints (this is a common accord/civic problem for this era). Also if you open your ECU, does it smell like fish or have marks around the capacitors?
