Hi I’m new here in this page, my project is a 92 Del Sol. I bought with out engine or transmission…I bought a 2000 CRV AWD with Manual transmission and stripped it completely…I literally have everything off the car except shell. So I have all wiring from the crv …..engine is mounted …now I’m stuck …my issue is how do I wire it up?

I started de-pinning and organizing what I think might work if I de-pin ….

Throw away the crv harness.
Get a 92-95 civic/del sol or Integra engine harness.
Plug it in.

 

Agree - you need to keep the harness that matches the chassis - much easier to do this way. Find a good used one in a junk yard or online. Or, there are aftermarket version from Rywire, Monotech, etc.

 

DO NOT 'throw away' the CR-V harness. It's plug & play for 99-00 Civic owners swapping in a B18/B20 and fairly valuable because of it.

 

Wouldn't a '99-01 Integra LS engine harness work pretty well ? I mean, if using a '96+ LS intake manifold (complete), this engine harness plugs into everything on the engine and it SHOULD plug into both shock towers in the Del Sol.

 

He'd need a distributor plug adapter at least. Either that or change injectors to obd1 if using the obd1 harness.
