For the last couple weeks engine light keeps coming on and maintenance required light has been stuck on for a month. The oil is fine and so is coolant. But my car for months has been smelling like gas and this morning when I got to work I turned it off to open the gate at work and I tried to start it it and it would sputter and then die when I was giving it gas. I tried a coke more times and I finally got it into the parking lot. I thought maybe it needed coolant but no it’s full and it’s not overheating. HELP I am at a standstill anybody else come across this problem. Oh and btw it’s been a few hours and it started right up. Uugh

 

Put a new Honda thermostat in it along with Honda coolant, clean throttle body, and put a new set of Denso spark plugs in it, clear the codes and run it.

 

p0128 is probably bad coolant temp sensor, buy a new one and install it
