My civic losing power while driving🤦🏽
So just recently my 2000 lx hit 227xxx miles and so abt now the alternator has had it especially bc I hav replaced many other parts so the old ones are all kind of going out ag the same time but basically I checked all my fuses replaced any failed ones aswell as the batter the alternator and the negative ground wire to the battery but my civic continues to just cut off while I’m driving then the battery light will appear and I’ll pull over turn it off then start it back up and it starts rt back up and drives like normal for a few minutes then it will happen again at this point I’m pretty lost… any ideas?

First thing that I was thinking was the ignition switch too, next thing I would suspect is the ignitor inside the distributor.. I think B series and D series are interchangeable so if you get one from the wreckers you could grab either one for cheap/free and try that..
I know some aftermarket distributors are hit and miss especially if you went with the cheapest one you could find. I've had a new one fail after less than 10,000km..
I replaced my cap and rotor and I’m facing the same issues any other ideas plz help
also my light on the roof inside is now flickering
