Default 2002 civic ex won't start in cold

Hi all so I have realized since the weather has dropped below 20F and subzero the car cranks and cranks and cranks no start it sounds like it was to catch but it don't voltage is 11.8 before crank and 11.4 after crank I know my battery and charging system are fine as they've been replaced a few months ago for prior issue. Any ideas sounds like pump is working when I turn key to accessory position, and everything lights up have had this issue before when it was around 20F and I kept trying it for like half hour and finally after a while it worked while now the chill is -5F and car won't start after an hour or trying, cranking like a few times then stopping for 15 mins or so tried to use the method of hitting the gas then cranking but I'm worried about doing that too often

Tried again I tried using a hair dryer as a block/battery heater and no go realized battery is 500 CCA which I guess is good but alot of my vehicles always used 600+ and this is probably the smallest battery CCA I've seen and I wonder if this is the issue cuz when it's normal temp starting voltage is at 12.8 to 13.8 when it's this cold the battery won't go above 12.2 but that SHOULD be enough but it isn't

Update it was warmer today so I tried and it didn't start but now today the battery was actually low voltage at 11 and could tell now at THIS point the battery wasn't charged enough, again brand new battery and drove it the night before it got negative outside. Went and got it charged at autozone and when I put it in it fired up, now idk if it was blowing more exhaust smoke out the tail pipe cuz moisture and such but I didn't let it idle I started driving cuz I didn't want it to idle for long. I drove it and 5 mins later my CEL came on, went back to Autozone and checked codes and got a p0131 which is low voltage on S1B1 O2 so not serious, but my question here is could extended cranking on it for 3 days have caused flooding ans damage to the o2?I didn't think I ever flooded it but the manual specifically says in cold to hold throttle to half and if that dont work hold all the way down. I only did that a few times because I was sketched about flooding the engine, and would also only crank for like 5 seconds and wait 10 so I wouldn't kill the starter so I feel like I couldn't have caused it, but it's so coincidental that I had to ask

My 01 Civic EX just done the same thing.
It was near -20 below and this thing always popped right off.
This time I only had one cylinder wanting to fire.
I braved the cold and put a new set of NGK plugs in it and the same thing.
The old plugs had black soot on them with the exception of the one which was firing.
I noticed the firing cylinder was the one where I had recently replaced that coil.
I went and bought three new coils so all four are new.
I started right up and now pops off on the third revolution, as it always has.

Two coils were totally dead.
One kind of wanted to fire but not enough to start.
One was working correctly.
Why did this happen all at the same time?
Don't know but it did and I blame the cold.

Just rolled over to 200,000 miles yesterday and didn't miss a beat.

Hello all, I know it's been a while, but the vehicle still has the same problem the minute the temp outside gets to 25 or below no chance of it starting. I didn't post much about it last year because it was so mild it never really went below freezing. Coming up on the winter Season I'm worried that it will be cold and it won't start.
Here is what I have done to the vehicle, not much but on recommendation i put spark plugs in it the other spark plugs were white, I have the oil changed and made sure it was 5w20. i also have had the coolant flushed/changed, otherwise nothing has needed to be done to it but i know it still has this problem because about 2 or 3 times it did get cold last year and the car had to sit to about mid day when it warmed up a bit.
Looking into getting a block heater thing but honestly would love to get this thing fixed, and working.

thanks!
