JDM D15B(d15z7) RPM fluctuation while cruising in neutral
Over the last year my IACV has gone bad so i decided that i should just block it off because it is very overpriced here where i live and i dont have that kind of money to spend, i have bypassed throttle body cooland lines and blocked the valve off and set my rpm to 1500, i still have the valve connected though because without it i get an engine light and no Vtec, car runs fine except from when cruising in neutral, there is a rpm fluctuation from 1500 to about 800 and it goes like that until the car stops moving, like a very weird fuel cut, is this because of the iacv being still connected and the ecu thinking that it still functions and messing up with the fuel and rpm and what not or is it just another issue, this is very irritating and i wish there was a way to get rid of, but i am curious to see if anyone had the same issue or knows anything about it, thanks in advance for any information.
update, i have lowered the rpm to 900-1000 and now it seems like it has fixed the issue, if anything new occurs i will also post here...
