Beating a dead horse y7 w/y8 intake manifold IACV question
Ok so I have a 99 ex sedan with a factory y8 five speed. Motor was blown bought a y7. I’m putting the y8 intake manifold on the y7. I’ve completed this. I used the y7 injectors, y8 fuel rail, y7 throttle body w/ y8 throttle rotor. The y7 throttle body has the three wire iacv. Y7 was a complete swap but po cut the harness plugs off when removing from the donor car. I’m using my 99 y8 harness with a 99 y7 ecu. I forgot to plug the injector air holes first time and I could physically hear the vacuum leak. So plugged those up. Getting ready to put y8 intake manifolds back on car. I’m using the y7 ecu because it was all I had. My main problem now and I’ve searched. Maybe not good enough but I can’t find a thread that totally matches mine. I need to convert my obd2b y8 two wire plug to the three wire obd2 y7 iacv. All I find are the 96-98 threads. I believe the motor was a 96-98 y7 because the distributor plugs were different. Although every other plug plugged into something. I put my 99 dizzy on. The y8 ecu barely ran the car. It would scoot up real high in rpm then deep down and bog out. Y7 ecu runs car but with idle surge that makes it sound camed. I need the diagram to convert my two wire obd2b from my factory 99 ex harness on my factory 99 y8 intake manifold since I’m using auto ecu where do I pin or move wires to?
any help would be appreciated got it in and got out running but with idle Steve it runs so bad.

Double post... this is a Forum "Faux Pas". Ask a MOD to merge so all answers are in the same post thread. I answered in your other thread. The key information that you failed to provide is the YEAR of the replacement Y7 engine that you are trying to use. Also, if you use a '99-00 Y7 engine harness, the IACV wiring will be done at the ECU end. A manual Y7 engine harness will have the same number of ECU plugs on it as your current Y8 engine harness... and there will be one more plug on an automatic Y7 engine harness over your current engine harness.
