Hello everyone, I was wondering if it would be cheaper to turbo a d15 or 16 to make around 150+hp or swap in a b18c1. The car I am doing this on is my 92 civic EG VX and I hear that the d15 it has cant take much power so it sounds like id have to buy a different d series. I would also be getting a different transmission that doesnt have such long gears. For the engine id either buy one local or order a used one on line. im also considering getting a crate engine from jegs linked down below. Either way Id be getting a different engine and transmission whether I stay D series or go B series. Id also be interested in getting an engine rebuilt but using different internals and raising the compression a little if it wouldnt ruin reliability. Thank you for any help.
