Default Delsol/Civic pedal question

Hello, I’m currently doing a swap auto to manual swap in my 97’ sol and had a question about the pedals. Do 96-97 del sol’s use the EK pedals or do they use EG? Thanks for any info!

I know EG pedals will work in a Del Sol, I'm not sure about EK.

Yeah I was wondering because the 96-97 were produced during the 6th gen and was thinking maybe they just used the ek pedals instead of the eg’s

There would be no reason to change pedal assemblies in mid-production... stick with the EG pedals.

Parts codes are all for EG stuff on the 96-97 del Sol.

Alright thank you, I've been reading a bunch of different forums from one saying it works to another saying it doesn't, the prices for the pedals too are out of my price range right now so I'll probably just use the clutch and cut the brake down until I can get a set.

Why not just get a used set from a '92-95 Civic manual car... I am sure you can find a few waiting for you in your local salvage yard ?

That was the plan but 4 different junkyards didn't have any eg civics, I'm looking around just for a cheap set since I only need the gas and brake. Maryland junkyards are very bland.
