Default D16Y7 Block with Y8 Head any different than a D16Y8 block and head?

Hey all, Have a 00 Civic EX that unfortunately spun a bearing. Has the stock D16Y8 and i ended up picking up a Y7 Shortblock with bottom end. I know the Y8 is 127 HP and im wondering if that will drop if i use a Y7 shortblock with crank and pistons from a Y7? I've heard the pistons are a bit different but what about the connecting rods. If i wanted to just swap the crank and pistons but retain the Y7 connecting rods and use the Y8 pistons would that work or are they different as well?

Thanks all
