Radio and Radio Housing
Hi I've recently bought a new radio for my 02 honda accord but i need to replace the housing as well due to damage. If anyone has a link or tutorial to remove the housing i would greatly appreciate it.
What do you mean "housing"..? Other than the four mounting bolts, you won't need anything from the original Honda or aftermarket radio that you removed from the dash. You will, however, need to order a radio install kit and a factory harness adapter prior to popping in that new head unit.
A couple asides...
- The 12volt Forum is an excellent resource for every variety of car audio/aftermarket electronics questions, including make and model-specific installation whatnots.
- Crutchfield purchases include complementary instructions and needed widgets to complete your installation. Crutchfield also provides a helpline staffed by native-English-speaking-humans if you find yourself in a bind a/o need installation advice.

If you take out a radio of the 2002 honda and you look in the back on the lower end, there are bolts down there. I want to know the name of the part so i can replace jt
Try taking a picture of the part your talking about. You could also search the Honda Genuine Parts Catalog and find it there if they even list that part. Do you mean the mounting bracket?
