Icon2 IPod in 2006 Accord- Help!

I have an 2006 Accord SE with the factory in dash 6 disk changer radio (w/o XM). I purchased an iPod adapter that plugs into the aux port on the bottom of the radio and was able to access the radio and hook everything up as directed. When I turned on the radio, my iPod recognized that it was plugged into something but when I pushed the CD/AUX button on the radio, it will only switch to the CD changer and never to AUX.

I even tried to disconnect and reconnect my radio (which began the hunt for my radio code) and still no luck with the AUX. Does anyone have any advice? Is there some way to enable the AUX through the radio?
