Hello, I have a 98 civic HX that had a d16y5 in it, the CVT blew and I didnt want to mess with it. I looked online and pretty much the only thing I found was to either sell it or swap in a EX engine and trans. So I did just that, my problem is now theres a connector on the drivers side shock tower that doesnt quite match up, doing some research I believe its the C136 plug. I could be wrong on that. The HX and EX have the C101 and C136 plug, but the C136 plug looks different across both. I was wondering if anyone has a fix for that.


From the EX engine, I believe the blue is connector c101 and the white being c136

From the car the colors are the same just the connectors dont match up

probably should note, I got the engine from a wrecked 97 civic EX, I do still have it the wiring behind the plugs in the second photo are all sorts of messed up though
