New cat is too short?

Default New cat is too short?

Replace the front cat and i tried everything to get it in the pipe but it seems to just be too short . Is this normal or what? My old cat end is a bit longer and it’s my second part I bought and they are 2 diff brands and just shorter than my original. Idk if it was welded to fit. Someone help me out I been on this for 5 days bouta lose my job.

Also I tried to start the car and the cat Evap and o2 light was blinking red on scanner . Check engine light popped up as well. I’m going to post the new and old cat side by side

Why did you change the old one out for the new one? Was the old one cracked?
