Default 2004 Honda EX, Manual, Cruise control

Cruise control switch lights up, however CC doesn't engage, assuming clutch switch is good since car will not start w/o clutch pedal depressed. From what I read, the CC fuse is common with several systems (F15 under the hood, F17 under the dash).

Therefore, I am leaning towards the brake light switch or the CC module its self, possibly the combination switch on the steering wheel...any thoughts, guidance?

the brake switch is $10, so may shotgun that switch.

There are two clutch switches. One for starting the car and one for cruise control. They both use the rubber nipple that dries up, cracks, and falls out. Check here first.

The brake switch is just a single switch with two positions. Could be this switch or adjustment of the switch as well.
