Default Civic high rev issue

Hello I have a 92 hatch with a fully built b20vtec turbo and I gave it too much gas in 2nd gear and spun hard, Hondata recorded my rpm hit 10038 at some point, my redline was set to 8100, was this a bug or is there an issue in the tune??

The cars fine it was built to handle high redline, the crank was balanced to 10k and the head was completely built with titanium parts, no hole in the block, just gave me a shock it went so high.

If it spun to 10038 rpm, you're redline is NOT set to 8100! Your tune needs to be checked and fixed. you can easily check and adjust this under parameters, make sure each gear is set to 8100 rpm.
