91 accord turns over, wont start. CEL stays on
My car died while driving it, and wont restart. It turns over, but wont start as if its not getting fuel. I drive it once a week for only ten miles. For the last year, if i drive it beyond that ten miles, the CEL comes on with code 43 (fuel system supply). Since it died, when I try to restart it, the CEL comes on and stays on. Because of this, i cant use my cars self-diagnostic system. Ive never had my CEL stay on, and I wonder if I need to determine why thats happening before i deal with my fuel system. What should i do next?
yes, i replaced it about 300 miles back, which was about a year ago. Its been throwing code 43 for over a year, but only after 5-10 min of driving.. So I only drive it once a week. But since it broke down, the CEL stays on solid when I jump the connector to pull a code. leading me to believe that i might have fuel problem and an electrical issue. Do you know if the car will start by popping the clutch while still having a fuel issue?
