Default Smoke coming from exhaust manifold wires

Hi, I just popped the hood after 5 min of driving and saw a small amount of smoke coming from the wires attached to the center of my '99 Civic exhaust manifold (picture attached). It smells to me like burning rubber, but not completely sure. Is this something to worry about? Could it just be burning off residue? The area the smoke was coming from was very hot to the touch.

Most likely it’s the valve cover gasket leaking
