umm... had a problem with a friend.. he was helpin me with an oil change.. i went inside to wash my hands... told him to put the oil in for me(was late to work)... so he did.. he closed the hood. I Told him thanks.. i was driving off to work 5 mins later, noticed my car was sounding kinda funny... got to work.. popped the hood.. what do i see! the stupid foo didnt put my oil cap back on.. im guessin maybe a 1/2 quart spilled out... so refilled the oil had another friend bring me his spare oil car.. was wondering..if driving with the oil cap off do anything bad???? i kno your not supposed to do it.. jus wondering... everything seems fine tho

how long were you driving like that?

if it's like 5 mins and is running good now then i think it's all good

 

umm.. i dont live to far from my work.. maybe like 10-15 minutes

 

As long as you did not starve your motor of oil..should be ok.
