so I was driving the other day and I saw smoke coming from under my hood, then I saw the tube from my coolant reservoir had came off, so I put it back on, then the next day my car was still overheating. There is no coolant leaks, and I had drained the old coolant out, I took it to a shop and they told me no leaks but that’s oil and ima need a new motor, which I don’t believe because oil doesn’t mix with water and wouldn’t it be darker if it was oil, they wouldn’t flush my cooling system

 

What’s the oil on the dipstick look like?

Oil does indeed make that same milkshake type goo when it mixes with coolant.

 

I forgot to look before I got her towed, I’m praying I don’t need a new head gasket or motor😔 literally haven’t drove the car for a whole month yet, got it as a gift for grad
