98 Civic 4dr SRS

SRS light will not go out. Tried jump with paperclip and never goes out. What do I need to check?

Hello,

I'm guessing you mean you jumped the connector to retrieve the stored diagnostic trouble codes. If so, what codes were stored?

I jumped to connector to reset the SRS light but it never went out.

First find out what the code is that made it light up in the first place.

I agree with the above post. You need to retrieve the code (or codes) and use that information as a starting point for diagnosing and repairing the problem.
