Em2 brake problems, soft pedal, no e brake
I’m having lots of brake troubles on my 04 si. So I planned to do a 5 lug disc brake conversion on my em2. I was going to wait out the winter and install it in spring as it’s going to be my daily for this winter.
But unfortunately my passenger caliper started leaking badly and I needed to replace it. So I just did the 5 lug on the fronts seeming I already bought rsx calliper and discs. Drums remain on the rear. Since I took off the caliper I figured I’d change the master cylinder and booster aswell while the system was open so I only had to bleed it once. (CALIPERS, ROTORS, MASTER CYLINDER AND BOOSTER ARE ALL BRAND NEW!)
Since then I’ve had tones of problems with soft pedal, and just recently my e-brake is extremely loose and does nothing.
I proceeded to bleed again.. assuming I left air in the system. But the problem wasn’t fixed. The car stops fine, the pedal just has to travel very far to do so.
i inspected the drums and nothing seems out of the ordinary. No leaks, lots of brake material, and the adjustment looks just fine.
P.s - I did k swap the car, and the abs does not work. The pump and lines are all still connected, just not functioning.
anyone experience anything similar or have any idea on where to look? I’m really scratching my head here as I’ve looked at everything to my knowledge that could be a possibility here. Any help would be much appreciated!
