Default Brake light on Dash stays on. Brakes bottoming out

Car was driving perfect this morning, but after parking for about 5 hours and starting it up, I pressed the brakes in and it bottomed out completely.

While driving it felt like the breaks were barely working, not much strength to them. Much much weaker from this morning.

While driving the brake light on the dash came on and hasn't come off since.

Thoughts on what the problem is? I don't think anything leaked I haven't seen a puddle or anything.
Lmk your thoughts

Hello,

It sounds like there's a leak in the hydraulic system somewhere. I know you said there aren't any leaks, but did you check the brake fluid level?

PS: Don't drive the car until you get this fixed.

Just checked the fluid and it's completely empty lol.
I'm very surprised I didn't see any liquids under my car, but a leak seeks likely now.

I was also thinking a problem with master cylinder but idk maybe just needs fluid lol. I'm going to get some rn

The fluid has to be going somewhere. Get in the cabin and look under the dash by the brake pedal, inspect for any fluids on anything, feel around with your hand is it damp?

Check your brake lines.

Filled the brake fluid back up and pumped the brakes.
looked underneath and unfortunately there is heavy leakage.
it just have busted a giant hole in those brake lines super recently, they are super rusted so looks like the previous owner never replaced them.
Until I get those brake lines replaced I'm just gonna tape the hole in them so wish me luck 😂😂

Lmao I hope you're kidding. You're going to tape a line that has 2 kpsi of pressure in it with full brake application?

When you get into an accident and go to court for vehicular manslaughter, this forum post will be "Exhibit B" after your leaking fuel lines as part of evidence for negligence.
