MAP Sensor 95 del sol S
This car runs great cold but when it gets to operating temp boggs terribly and won't tach-up. the throttle opens and it's sucking air but it's barely moving. sometimes if I get the throttle just right it really goes but then when I floor it, bwwwwaaaaaaa... . then starts missing at idle when before I floored it the idle was perfect. I just change the O2 sensor in the exhaust manifold and it made no difference. I was going to try to MAP sensor next.... I posted this problem long ago but forgot what y'all told me to replace. I remember you said the "02 sensor" but can't remember the rest. I thought it was the MAP but not sure. OH, and i installed a "cold air intake" so this could be part of the problem. do I have to make any changes when opening-up the intake? The car has 153K on it.
THANKS!
THANKS!

i just ordered an AIT sensor.... I replaced the TPS a while back but it's probably not adjusted properly. I had a heck of a time getting a wire into it to get a reading. I'll try again. THANKS
Get one of those $1 razor blades from harbor freight, cut into the insulation very slightly until you can see the wires strands then cut the insulation off and when you use the voltmeter put the probe thru the wires
Or just poke it thru I got bouncing readings when doing this but sometimes you can get it just right. Or you can use a paper clip or jumper wire at the pins of the plug
Calibrate it to 0.48v at closed throttle
