Default Compression test reading 0-0-9-89?

New here and dont know much about cars but did a compression test on a 92 integra and the readings from the spark plug hole closest to the distributor going right was
0-0-9-89. What could be causing such low readings?

Either you are doing the compression test incorrectly or the engine is in really bad shape.

I sure im doing the test right as i have seen plenty of videos showing how to do it. Could a bad timing belt be causing the problem ot maybe problems with the head gasket?

When a timing belt breaks or jumps time, it is very common to get bent valves... especially on the exhaust side of the engine. Even if you replaced the timing belt, or placed the engine back in proper mechanical time, the bent valves are still bent. If you want to check this, move the camshaft to the valve adjustment position for each of the offending cylinders and connect compressed air to the spark plug hole (you should be able to connect an air line to your compression test adapter hose, but you must remove the valve/schrader core). Listen closely as to where the air is coming from: Out of the exhaust = bent exhaust valves; Out of the intake or throttle body = bent intake valves; down into the oil pan or up through the oil cap = normal if VERY LIGHT or bad rings/scarred cylinder walls/eroded or damaged piston.

Pull the valve cover and make sure all the spark plug grommets are present. Otherwise I agree with JR, it sounds like the valves may have been significantly bent.
