Default 2000 Civic EX Y7/Y8 Swap Questions

Recently I purchased a '00 Civic EX coupe with a spun bearing. Long story short, I rebuilt an old y7 block and put the y8 head from the coupe on it. It came with a P2P-A12 ECU but after the swap the engine will not run on the P2P. However, if I throw my P06 with a NepTune Z6 basemap in it, it will run but not great. Before the swap the P2P ran the car fine. Am I missing something? I noticed the Y7 block doesn't have a CKP but the Y8 does.

Would that be the cause? I appreciate any feedback on this.

I haven't messed with the P2P ECU's. Is there a way to disable/bypass the immobilizer?

The Y7 block DOES have the CKF sensor on the oil pump... the same as the Y8 block. This should NOT keep the engine from starting and running/idling... so you likely have other issues that need to be addressed. Your problem is NOT the ECU... either of them. Check your mechanical timing... and go back over your short block build. Also, check all of your wiring in the engine bay after the install... especially the thermostat ground and engine grounds.

Went ahead and re-timed the engine. Cylinder #1 at TDC and Balancer lined up with timing mark. Double checked grounds, especially the Thermostat ground. Made sure harness wiring hadn't been chewed up or any bad connections. Still running into the same issue. P06 runs it but the P2P will not. Found and fixed a vacuum leak. Also, TPS unplugged on the P06 runs the engine smoother. Bad TPS causing the P2P not to fire maybe? I've been messing with Hondas for awhile but this issue has got me stumped.
