Strange Voltage Issue
I have 2001 Honda Civic RHD with D15 engine. So far I have been trying to solve a mind-boggling issue with the voltage fluctuations. Visible at night time I can see all electrics pulse high and low like turn signal. This happens when the car is moving (irrespective of bumps). I have checked the Alternator and it charges the battery at 13.8 volts and even goes to 14 with all load in it. However, with the scanner, I always see voltage at ECU to be around 11.5-12.6 V.
I know this clearly indicates that there is loose ground somewhere. Given that all electronics flicker I was assuming that the main ground might be faulty but does not seem to be. Furthermore, I also checked the Main positive connections at the fuse box seem to be getting hot but the voltage is not dropping from these connections and resistance from the connector to fusebox is 0 ohms
Not sure where I am loosing voltage.
